In March, we invite all aspiring or budding entrepreneurs to participate in our French-speaking entrepreneurship competition: the 48h Top Chrono. This 8th edition aims to encourage innovative ideas and high-growth potential among French-speaking immigrant communities in British Columbia.
What is the 48h Top Chrono?
You’ll have 48 hours to turn your idea into a startup! To help you, online formations, resources, and coaching will be provided. After working on your concept and business model, your team will present your pitch to the jury members.
- Do you have a business idea? Come together with a team and try your chance to win cash and high-value service prizes! It’s ideal for someone who wants to launch their entrepreneurial adventure soon.
- You don’t have an idea, but you’d like to try entrepreneurship? Join a team and benefit from ideal accompaniment to introduce you to this world.
The 48h Top Chrono is a unique opportunity to develop practical knowledge in entrepreneurship, exchange with experts and entrepreneurs, practice your pitch in front of a jury, and leave with ideas (or prizes!) to move your project forward.
Resources & Tools
You’ll be guided by several mentors with diverse expertise to structure your ideas, choose the right business model, and present your business project to attract investors and potential partners. This edition will take place entirely in a virtual format. A dedicated platform will be shared with you, featuring aid files, virtual meeting rooms for team work, and workshops with your mentors. This competition is organized at the federal level by the Réseau de Développement Économique et d’Employabilité (RDÉE), in collaboration with the Société de Développement Économique de Colombie Britannique (SDECB).
